Kid D – “Different Class” (feat. 23 Remz)

“Different Class”, the third single from Kid D‘s forthcoming debut vocal project Substance, finds him team up with musical newcomer and fellow Forest Hill resident 23 Remz for a dark, braggadocious UK rap number.

While the self-produced track is somewhat of a sonic departure from a typical Kid D song ā€“ driven by thumping 808s and trappy percussion ā€“ it still bears the hallmarks of his signature style in the form of glimmering synth arpeggios.

This versatility is on show throughout the upcoming EP, which effortlessly flits between rap and grime tracks, at some points even fusing the two.
