Manga Saint Hilare joins DJ Argue for Rinse FM’s latest Grime History Lesson

Following on from a slew of well-received, candid discussions with the likes of Jme, Riko Dan and Nasty Jack, DJ Argue’s latest ‘Grime History Lesson’ on Rinse FM sees him catch up with seasoned lyricist and Roll Deep member Manga Saint Hilare for a revealing interview and an accompanying set.

The pair discuss the themes behind the North West Londoner’s forthcoming project, Make It Out Alive; the story of how an Eskimo Dance clash first put him on Wiley’s radar; how he overcame feeling “lost” while his peers enjoyed commercial success; and more.

The episode marks the start of Argue’s new regular fortnightly slot on Rinse FM, Tuesdays 11am-12pm. Shows will alternate between ‘Grime History Lessons’ and ‘Grime Debate’ panel discussions, which have previously involved TRENCH’s Hyperfrank, Beats 1’s Joe Walker, and Grime Report founder Lordie among others.
